Overview
Overview
This is a 2025 Peterbilt Model 567 Conventional day cab, spec'd for construction dump service on and off the highway, hauling other commodity. It carries a GVWR of 85,000 lbs and a GCW of 85,000 lbs on a 277" wheelbase, and is fitted with a new Air-Flo tri-axle end dump body.
Engine & Drivetrain
Power comes from a PACCAR MX-13 rated 510 HP at 1,600 RPM, governed at 2,200 RPM, with 1,850 lb-ft of torque at 1,000 RPM, built to 2024 emissions standards as a Model Year 2025 engine. The truck runs EMUX electronics architecture with a typical operating speed of 65 MPH, MX Retarder state cruise control on, and a PACCAR compression brake. The powertrain is optimized for balanced service with frequent start/stop cycles, and PTO is controlled from the cab station through a dash-mounted single-acting EOH PTO control (electric over hydraulic), with a remote PTO/throttle 12-pin provision in the engine bay. Power is routed through an Allison 4500 RDS-P automatic transmission, Gen 6 Rugged Duty Series, in a 6-speed configuration with a dash-mounted push button shifter, via an SPL170 HD-XL driveline with 2 midship bearings and an SPL170 XL interaxle driveline for the tandem rear axles. Electrical equipment includes a PACCAR 160-amp brushed alternator, 3 PACCAR AGM 12V batteries at 2,775 CCA, and a PACCAR premium starter. Additional engine equipment includes a 2-speed fan clutch for frequent start/stops, a Wabco 25.9 CFM air compressor, a high efficiency cooling system, dual self-cleaning under-hood pre-cleaners with a firewall-mounted air cleaner, a dual SOC exhaust with the stack on the LH side and DPF/SCR mounted under the cab in a single module, a 36" chrome standpipe with clear coat, and an immersion-type block heater (110–120V). The truck also comes equipped with SmartLINQ remote diagnostics (RD/OTA) on a 5-year subscription.
Chassis & Axles
The front axle is a PACCAR FX-20 steer axle rated 20,000 lbs with a 4" drop (GAWR Front 20,000 lbs), and the rear axle is a Dana Spicer D46-172 rated 46,000 lbs (GAWR Rear 23,000 lbs). Two Watson-Chalin SL13 self-steering pusher axles are fitted, each rated 13,500 lbs and including their own air tanks (GAWR First Inter 11,020 lbs, Second Inter 23,000 lbs), spaced 49" and 98" from the centerline of the forward drive axle. The rear axle ratio is 4.10. The frame uses 10-3/4" steel rails extending to 354" at 3/8" thickness, with a full steel inner liner and zinc-coated anti-corrosion treatment, HD iron front spring brackets front and rear, and aluminum frame rail crossmembers. Key chassis dimensions are FAX/BOC 86.2", Cab/Axle 190.8", and Cab/EOF 248.8", with a maximum grade rating of 6%. Front axle load is rated 20,000 lbs and rear axle load 46,000 lbs. The truck includes a differential lock on the tandem axles with speed interlock, Bendix ESP Electronic Stability Program with ATC for truck/end dump/roll-off applications, air disc brakes front and rear on the tandem drive axle with severe service disc brake rotors, and heavy wall drive axles. Safety and monitoring equipment includes ABS (6S6M) with an off-road switch, a tire pressure monitoring system, synthetic axle lubricant on all axles, bracket-mounted lift axle regulators with switches and gauges in the dash, a stowed lift axle raised for maximum ground clearance, Lane Keeping Assist with torque-assisted steering, Bendix Fusion (side sensor not included), adjustable and standard following-distance adaptive cruise control, and Safety Direct with video recording.
