Hybrid Tour Showcases Leading Edge Technologies.

BALTIMORE, Maryland (January 7, 2009) – A recent demonstration put on by The Pete Store served as a showcase for Peterbilt’s newest hybrid technologies. Once merely a concept, these trucks are now available to the public and delivering some serious results for those who have placed them into service. The Hybrid Tour spanned five states where the system was demonstrated to customers in fields including beverage distribution, public utilities, and trash removal.

Initial response has been very positive given the combination of outstanding efficiency gains, enhanced public image, and exceptional quality of Peterbilt’s medium duty lineup. In addition, the federal government is offering tax credits of up to $12,000 per truck.
